Baskar Sridharan

Baskar Sridharan is the President of Trase.

Baskar Sridharan is a veteran technology executive with more than two decades of leadership experience across the world’s top hyperscalers — Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. His career has been defined by building and scaling some of the most widely used data, AI, and cloud infrastructure products in the industry.

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), Baskar served as Vice President and General Manager of AI/ML Services, where he led the teams behind key products such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, and AWS data services including EMR, Glue, and Athena. His work helped accelerate the adoption of enterprise AI by making it easier for customers to build, deploy, and manage intelligent applications at scale.

Prior to AWS, Baskar held senior leadership roles at Google, driving initiatives within Google Cloud on compute, data, Robotics, and resource management infrastructure, and at Microsoft, where he spent over 15 years contributing to the creation and growth of big data systems such as Azure Data Lake and Cosmos.

Baskar holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University. Throughout his career, he has been deeply focused on the evolution of data systems, AI platforms, and large-scale compute infrastructure, translating cutting-edge technology into meaningful business impact. He is known for building high-performing teams and delivering transformative products that shape the future of cloud and artificial intelligence.
